JUMP prides itself on easing some of a teacher's workload before the event. One week prior to JUMP, we will send each Teacher a master schedule as well as a personalized "JUMP Handbook" for each of their students. This handbook includes a personalized workshop and competition schedule as well as all other info for the event. Studios don't have to make copies of the schedule anymore!!
We have also added a really cool feature to our website. Students and Teachers can now DOWNLOAD their own personalized JUMP workshop and competition schedules directly from our website! Simply go to your city page, type in your name, click and print!!! (available 7 days prior).
Upon arrival at JUMP, you will receive your studio's registration packet with your dancers' scholarship numbers & wristbands, a complimentary competition program, any updated schedules and pre-registered observer passes. Please check the schedule posted on your city page to see what time early registration begins on Friday (if applicable) in your city. We understand that teachers and students may not arrive at the same time on Friday. Therefore, dancers will not be required to wear their scholarship numbers or wristbands until Saturday morning.
Registered Teachers are allowed access to all workshop rooms and have reserved seating for both the Competition and Closing Show.
All Studio Owners & Teachers are invited to the "Teacher Orientation and Coffee Talk" on Saturday morning in the Teacher Room. If you have any last-minute questions, this is the perfect time to get your answers before the rest of the weekend!
On Sunday, Gil & the faculty host a complimentary brunch for all Teachers and Studio Owners. This is a great, fun and casual opportunity to share your thoughts and meet some other teachers. Please join us!

When calculating the total number of students, do not include scholarship recipients or Observers.
If you qualify for the complimentary hotel room, JUMP will make the reservation at the hotel and pay for the room & tax. Please provide the name for the reservation on the workshop registration form. The room reserved will have two double beds. JUMP will contact you the week of the event with more details regarding your complimentary room reservation.
Teachers attending more than one 2012-2013 regional workshop, with competing students, may attend all additional cities at no charge.
Every studio that brings 20 or more paying students to the JUMP workshop, receives one FREE TUITION scholarship to the Dance Teacher Summit. The Dance Teacher Summit was created to bring together like-minded dance teachers who have a passion for the growth and development of dance education. It is being held in NYC, August 5-7, 2013 at the Hilton NY. More info can be found here:

Each studio that brings 10 or more paying dancers to the workshop will receive a JUMP Studio Scholarship. The Studio Scholarship allows a Teacher to select one dancer from their studio to come back to one JUMP workshop during the 2013-2014 regional season, free of charge! This scholarship was started as a tool for studio owners to help their dancers connect the convention experience with their studio experience.
