VIP
At Jump, all Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior dancers (ages 8-19) that are registered for the full workshop will be participating in the VIP Scholarship Audition Class. Dancers must audition by their age as of January 1, 2026. ALL DANCERS MUST BE IN THEIR "AGE APPROPRIATE" ROOM FOR THE VIP AUDITION AS WELL AS THE PRECEDING AUDITION COMBO CLASS. During the class prior to the audition, students will learn a jazz routine. During the audition, the dancers will be broken up into groups and the Jump artists will evaluate. Students will be chosen by the artists in each of the following age groups: Mini (8-10), Junior (11-12), Teen (13-15) and Senior (16-19). The selected students will be announced at the end of the audition. These students will be the "VIP Finalists"! All VIP finalists will be called up on stage at the end of the Closing Show on Sunday afternoon, and the winners and remaining runners-up in each age division will be announced.
VIP Winners will receive:
- $300 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2026 (Intensive Only)
- One Jump Tour Scholarship, to be used at any Jump regional workshop during the 2025-2026 & 2026-2027 season
- One Workshop Scholarship to the 2026 Dance Awards!
- Eligibility to compete in the 2026 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards Las Vegas OR Orlando.
VIP Runners-Up will receive:
- $150 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2026 (Intensive Only)
- One Workshop Scholarship to the 2026 Dance Awards!
- Eligibility to compete in the 2026 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards Las Vegas OR Orlando.
CLASS SCHOLARSHIPS
In every regional city, each artist will award scholarships to dancers that excel at their particular style in each of their individual classes. This will give students the opportunity to receive scholarships in all disciplines of dance: tap, jazz, lyrical, hip hop, ballet, etc. Class Scholarships can be awarded to any dancers, ages 8-19, in the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior workshop levels. The number of scholarship winners may vary depending on convention size and skill level. Dancers are eligible for only one Class Scholarship per season. One-day students are not eligible for Class Scholarships.
All High 5 Scholarship recipients receive:

- $150 scholarship to DancerPalooza 2027 (Intensive only)
- IMPORTANT: Winning a High 5 Scholarship does not make a dancer eligible to compete in the 2027 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards. However, a High 5 Class Scholarship Winner may still audition in other cities to become a Regional VIP, thereby making them eligible to compete in the 2027 Best Dancer Competition at The Dance Awards.
ROCKSTAR SCHOLARSHIPS
In every regional city, each Jump artist will choose one dancer as the recipient of their “Rockstar” scholarship. This dancer may be someone who excels in class, someone who shows a lot of potential, or someone who stands out to the artists for a special reason.The Rockstar Scholarship recipient can come back to one Jump during the 2027-2028 regional season and participate in the workshop, free of charge! Rockstar Scholarships can be awarded to any dancer, ages 8-19, in the Mini, Junior, Teen and Senior workshop levels. Dancers are eligible for only one Rockstar Scholarship per season. One-day dancers and Jump VIP Winners are not eligible for Rockstar Scholarships.
THE FINE PRINT...
- All Jump ages are determined as of January 1, 2027. For example: Ages for November 2026 events will be as of January 1, 2027, and ages for April 2027 events will be as of January 1, 2027.
- Dancers' scholarship numbers are generated for each specific age division, with all ages being as of January 1, 2027.
- Teachers may register dancers for whichever workshop level they feel the dancer will benefit from the most. However, ALL dancers MUST be in the age-appropriate room during the VIP Audition Combo Class as well as the actual VIP Audition. Any dancers auditioning with the wrong workshop level will not be eligible for any VIP scholarships.
- When a dancer wins a scholarship with one studio, he/she cannot utilize the scholarship as an "independent" or with another studio, without the permission of the original studio owner.
- One-day students are not eligible for any scholarships.
- Independent dancers are unable to receive VIP scholarships but are eligible for all other scholarships.
- Dancers ages 20+ are not eligible for any scholarships.
- All scholarships must be used before the expiration date printed on the scholarship voucher.
- The Dance Awards Workshop Scholarships may be used for the 2027 Dance Awards ONLY.
- Scholarships are not transferable.
